We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. As a Travel Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and provide high-quality care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Current WI State OT license and BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a preference for inpatient and outpatient experience.
- Strong working knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Travel experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. The primary location is Aspirus Wausau Hospital, and the shift requirements are Monday through Friday, 8-hour days. There are no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements for this position.
