We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Canine Coach to join our team at BKBM Long Island City LLC. As a Canine Coach, you will play a critical role in ensuring the happiness and health of our canine clients.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. In return, we offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise dogs in playrooms to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Clean after dog use, including urine and feces
  • Administer food and medications as needed
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary facility
  • Perform Meet and Greets to a high standard (dog temperament tests)
  • Perform cross-trained duties to a high standard whenever needed (front desk/bathing/rover)

Requirements:

  • Must be able to respond quickly if a scuffle breaks out
  • Must be confident around all dog breeds and sizes
  • Must love dogs
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing
  • Ability to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills
