Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist Opportunity

CHI Franciscan Rehabilitation Hospital, a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the care and recovery of patients in the Puget Sound area who require continued rehabilitation to achieve optimal function.

Responsibilities:

Assesses patients' needs and identifies and initiates appropriate occupational therapy interventions
Works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional occupational therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork
Observes and evaluates treatment effect, accomplishment of short- and long-term goals, and recommends changes to the physician as needed
Performs an appropriate assessment on each patient and performs reassessments as per policy
Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function or participation in rehabilitation and makes appropriate interventions to reduce pain
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors

Qualifications:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located
Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred but not required
Effective oral and written communication skills in English with additional languages preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification

Salary range: $42 - $53 per hour. We expect those hired into this role to be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
