We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at ProTouch Medical. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus or a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. A minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine, primary care, or a similar clinical setting is required. Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in IA / MN is also necessary. Board certification as an FNP by the ANCC or AANP, or as a PA-C by the NCCPA, is highly valued.
Responsibilities include conducting thorough medical histories, performing complete physical examinations, initiating appropriate lab and radiology tests, and scrutinizing lab data to establish a record of the patient's current health status and develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan. The work setting will be onsite, outpatient, and private practice.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus or a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine, primary care, or a similar clinical setting.
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in IA / MN.
- Board certification as an FNP by the ANCC or AANP, or as a PA-C by the NCCPA.
