Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Electrophysiology team at Prisma Health. As an Electrophysiology Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiac electrophysiology program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family-centered care.
- Assist with monitoring duties, including understanding mechanics of arrhythmias and monitoring patient's electrocardiogram.
- Accomplish scrub duties, practicing sterile techniques and ensuring tasks are accomplished efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare procedure rooms using infection control guidelines and ensure radiation protection techniques are followed.
- Assist with recovery duties, obtaining hemostasis as needed and safely returning patients to room or nursing unit after procedure.
- Order and restock supplies as needed and ensure instruments are cleaned and prepared for Central Supply per department policy and infection control.
- Associate's Degree - Nursing
- 2 years Critical Care, plus 6 months EP Lab
- SC Registered Nurse
- BLS and ACLS
- Basic Computer Skills
- Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
- Data Entry skills
- Mathematical Skills
- Patient Equipment
- RCIS or RCES preferred
