About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Amazon Marketing Cloud - Ads + AWS Applications team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our advertising business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines that extract and process billions of records from various advertising and non-advertising source systems.
  • Work closely with Senior Engineers to build new applications for advertisers and ensure seamless integration with our data management system.
  • Own the ingestion data pipeline and have the freedom to prioritize and choose the right technologies to meet our vision and support 10x growth requirements.
What You'll Do

As a Data Engineer on our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building new data pipelines to optimizing existing ones. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Senior Engineers, Technical Product Managers, and Principal Engineers, to ensure that our data systems are scalable, reliable, and meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines and systems.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with SQL and non-relational databases/data stores.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS technologies, such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, and dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
