Position Overview:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Legal Practitioner specializing in General Liability to become a vital part of our esteemed team. We seek a dedicated professional who is passionate about the legal field and eager to make a significant contribution to our firm. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all facets of general liability cases, including those related to medical malpractice. This role will also involve shaping the strategic direction of our general liability practice. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Legal Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of general liability cases from initiation to resolution, including trial proceedings when necessary.
2. Providing legal counsel and representation to clients on matters concerning general liability and medical malpractice.
3. Formulating and executing strategies for managing complex general liability cases effectively.
4. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
5. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and pleadings.
6. Representing the firm in court and before regulatory authorities.
7. Collaborating with fellow attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality legal service delivery.
8. Keeping abreast of laws, regulations, and industry trends pertinent to general liability and medical malpractice.
9. Engaging in business development initiatives to attract new clients and grow the firm's general liability practice.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in the relevant State Bar.
3. At least six years of experience as a practicing attorney, focusing on general liability and medical malpractice.
4. Proven success in managing and resolving complex general liability cases.
5. Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
8. High standards of professionalism and ethics.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and technology tools.
11. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
