Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physiological, psychological, and environmental factors to develop personalized care plans.
  • Perform clinical procedures safely and effectively, utilizing appropriate techniques and materials.
  • Utilize clinical judgment to provide high-quality care, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and infection control standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Encourage patient independence and promote self-care skills.
  • Develop, evaluate, and revise patient care goals in collaboration with patients and families.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, families, and patients to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Discharge patients when goals are met, ensuring a smooth transition to the next stage of care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of physical therapy.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
  • At least one year's experience as a registered therapist in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
