We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in the Fernley, NV area for the upcoming school year.

Job Summary:

Soliant Education is looking for a skilled School Psychologist to provide psychological assessments, individual and group counseling services, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement interventions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing various mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement interventions, ensuring student success.
  • Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to student progress.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed, ensuring effective support.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Engage in community outreach and promote mental health awareness, fostering a positive impact on student well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Strong understanding of child development, psychological assessment, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
