Position Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist / Application Tester

Location: Reston, VA

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with FSP

Compensation: $225,000 - $243,000

The salary range provided reflects the anticipated compensation for this role; however, final offers will be determined based on various factors including the responsibilities of the position, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and skills, as well as current market conditions.

This role requires U.S. Citizenship.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the upkeep of current legacy systems while facilitating the transition to a new system architecture.
  • Establish and manage an automated testing environment utilizing recommended automated testing tools.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or other specified testing frameworks.
  • Design and implement software system testing and validation protocols, along with comprehensive documentation.
  • Develop testing programs that cover aspects such as database effects, software scenarios, and regression testing.
  • Document testing procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Evaluate and validate the functional performance of code.
  • Conduct unit and functional testing on software corrections.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in testing web-based applications, particularly those involving databases and web services/APIs.
