About the Role

The selected candidate will provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, utilizing their expertise and skills as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes and have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions

• Conduct daily huddles with the care team to review schedules, patient information, resource needs, and coordination of care

• Collaborate with pharmacists to educate patients on medication management and optimize treatment plans

• Utilize electronic visits, patient portals, Geisinger's ConvenientCare urgent care clinics, and text messaging to increase access to care for patients

Benefits Package

• Salary: $85,000-$110,000 per year, based on experience

• Recruitment incentive of $10,000, paid in a lump sum upon start, with a 2-year work obligation

• Continuing Medical Education – 10 working days, based on 8 hours, and $3,000 annually

• 6 paid holidays and 23 days of Paid Time Off

• Teaching opportunities through advanced practice preceptorship

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) or a related field
