Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training programs.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine or a related field.
  • Certification as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT) in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with General Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, or PET imaging.
  • Knowledge of EMR systems, such as Epic, and imaging software, such as Hermes and Xeleris.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
