Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join The College of Southern Nevada as a College Work Study Student in the Audio Recording Program. As a student assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the program's operations and contributing to the success of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with monitoring Open Lab times in our Computer Music Classroom/Lab
  • Organize and maintain audio equipment
  • Set up classrooms and equipment for recording sessions
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks
  • Assist with minor office tasks
  • Support the maintenance and upgrading of audio software
Requirements
  • A minimum comprehension of audio fundamentals, terminology, and hardware and software used in audio recording
  • Good people skills and a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of audio equipment
  • Preference given to students already in the CSN Audio Recording Program
Working Conditions

This position requires a student to work on campus, primarily in the Computer Music Classroom/Lab. The student will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to achieve program goals.
