As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using various imaging modalities, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray equipment.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Operate imaging equipment, adjusting settings and parameters as needed to optimize image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.
  • Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
