Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Estimator to join our team at Granite Construction Incorporated. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for developing accurate and timely proposals and estimates for construction projects.

• Develop and administer safety programs to ensure a safe work environment that meets or exceeds Granite's Annual Incident Goal.
• Analyze and compile estimate data to ensure a high-quality and timely estimate, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and proposed project site conditions.
• Utilize advanced analytical processes to ensure logically estimated costs are accurate and present estimates to senior management for review.
• Communicate with owners, subcontractors, public, and private entities to ensure competitiveness and develop business relationships to increase bid opportunities.
• Supervise, direct, and mentor estimating staff to ensure individual development and Granite standards are met.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience.
• 10+ years estimating experience and prior management experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office products, AGTEK Take-off, and Primavera Scheduling software.
• Advanced knowledge of Estimating software, civil engineering principles, and construction principles and equipment capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
