Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Teresian House, a leading provider of elderly care services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of enhancing the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and oversee the recording of all documentation on the unit.
  • Supervise and guide LPNs, Geriatric Technicians, and Nursing Assistants on assigned units, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal resident outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
