Job Summary:


Crossroads Trading, a well-known clothing resale retailer, is on the lookout for a Floor Supervisor. If you are enthusiastic about fashion and eager to enhance your knowledge in buying, merchandising, customer service, and trend forecasting while collaborating with fellow fashion enthusiasts, this position may be ideal for you.


Responsibilities:
Engage actively in staff management and problem-solving.

Train and oversee team members.

Support the Store Manager in daily operations.

Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that arise.


Handle transactions at the Point of Sale (POS) counter, including operating POS software, managing cash, providing change, and issuing trade cards for sold items.

Assist customers on the sales floor, in fitting rooms, at the register, and at the buy counter.

Prepare merchandise for display on the sales floor.

Contribute to store merchandising by creating appealing window and interior displays.

Maintain a clean and inviting store environment.

Assist with store security by checking bags and monitoring dressing rooms and other areas.

Serve as a role model and lead by example.

Qualifications:

Required:
At least 6 months of supervisory experience in retail.

Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

Flexible availability, including weekends.

A strong desire to advance in the fashion retail sector.

Proficiency in sales floor support and an eye for store aesthetics.

Experience with store opening/closing procedures, employee training, and enforcing company policies.

Preferred:
Experience in luxury or designer retail.

A degree or certification in fashion.

Ability to authenticate merchandise.

Extensive knowledge of fashion, including familiarity with brands, designers, and current trends.

Experience in similar industries, such as buy-sell-trade or consignment, is a significant advantage.
