Job Overview

As a CDL A Trainer, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of professional truck drivers. We are seeking an experienced instructor to join our team at Straight Through Logistics Llc.

Estimated Salary:

$65,000 per year (dependent on qualifications)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to instruct students in the safe operation of commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in over-the-road driving experience and be able to effectively communicate with students.

  • Teach students the fundamentals of full pre-trip inspections, basic control skills, and over-the-road training
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a valid CDL Class-A license and have no more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years. A minimum of 3 years verifiable over-the-road or local commercial driving experience is also required. Additionally, candidates must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner Certificate and pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle drug screen.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Candidates with an active Florida instructor license are highly desirable.
