Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert tax guidance to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax laws and regulations.

With a strong background in tax preparation and a passion for delivering exceptional client service, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews, preparing tax returns, and providing tax planning and audit support to our clients.

You will work closely with our team to build strong relationships with clients, understand their unique tax needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients to understand their tax needs and provide expert guidance
• Prepare accurate and complete tax returns, including individual and business tax returns
• Provide tax planning and audit support to clients, including identifying opportunities for tax savings and addressing tax-related issues
• Build strong relationships with clients, understand their unique tax needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and apply that knowledge to provide expert guidance to clients

• 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax consulting firm
• Strong background in tax preparation, including individual and business tax returns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
