We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at SIGNA HVAC SYSTEMS INC in Whitestone, NY. As a leading installation, maintenance, and service company, we serve all 5 boroughs with a strong client base in Manhattan.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Fill out job tickets via phone or tablet
  • Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
  • Strong customer communication skills
Requirements
  • Previous experience in HVAC, minimum of 3 years of commercial and residential equipment
  • Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • Independent worker
  • Take charge individual with a strong desire to serve customers and assist co-workers
  • Organized and efficient, loyal, honest, trustworthy, and well-groomed
  • Commitment to quality, always checking and testing work before leaving the job
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Good communication and written skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
