We are looking for a skilled Clinical Advanced Practice Provider to deliver care for medical, surgical, and ICU patients. This role involves working night shifts and includes rotating weekends and holidays. Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain ACNP certification to provide support in the ICU setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and establish diagnoses based on assessment data and current scientific research.
- Develop and execute comprehensive care plans in alignment with established protocols and standards.
- Engage in collaborative care with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient and family support.
- Order and conduct standard diagnostic tests.
- Create and implement effective treatment strategies.
- Assess the success of therapeutic interventions.
- Contribute to the ongoing education of staff, patients, families, and oneself.
- Exhibit leadership qualities and effective management skills.
- Provide educational opportunities through role modeling and training sessions to address identified learning needs and enhance professionalism.
- Pursue personal professional growth through self-directed learning and participation in continuing education and peer review activities.

Additional Duties:
- Perform other assigned responsibilities as necessary.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and standards.
- Refer to departmental documentation provided during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding the secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Proven proficiency as a healthcare practitioner
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Familiarity with various technical patient care equipment relevant to the clinical setting
Proficient in using computers and office technology
Education and Expertise:
Nurse Practitioner: Doctorate in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on clinical practice.

Physician Assistant: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant training program with NCCPA certification.
Required Credentials, Licensure, or Certification:
Nurse Practitioner: BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio; Current APRN license in Ohio.
