Job Summary

Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and critical care to patients in the ICU, monitoring vital signs and managing life-sustaining treatments. You will administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products as prescribed by physicians, ensuring precise dosing and patient safety. Additionally, you will operate and monitor advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and hemodynamic monitors.

Responsibilities

- Provide critical care to patients in the ICU, monitoring vital signs and managing life-sustaining treatments.
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products as prescribed by physicians, ensuring precise dosing and patient safety.
- Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and hemodynamic monitors.
- Assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions, initiating appropriate interventions and escalating care when necessary.

Requirements

- Current RN state license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong knowledge of critical care procedures, equipment, and pharmacology.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
