Job SummaryKaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures, including routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations, in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist patients and transport them as needed.
- Enter data, file work, restock supplies, and perform quality assurance functions.
- Participate in on-call or standby schedules as required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a related field, or completion of an AMA-approved program and successful completion of one year of ultrasound training and certification.
- Registration as a Cardiac Sonographer within 12 months of hire from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
