CHOC Children's Specialists, a leading private pediatric subspecialty group, seeks an Advanced Practitioner to join our esteemed Cardiology Division.

  • Assisting attending cardiologists and surgeons with pre- and post-operative visits
  • Patient and family education for high-risk cardiac cases
  • Organizing the cardiac neurodevelopment program
  • Developing new clinical pathways
  • Overseeing the cardiac nutrition clinic
  • Facilitating multidisciplinary case conferences

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field
  • At least one year of experience in direct pediatric cardiac patient care
  • Excellent communication skills

CHOC Children's Specialists is composed of over 250 physicians and 40 advanced practice providers across 22 pediatric subspecialties. We are affiliated with the University of California, Irvine, and have a formal partnership with UCLA Health to form a joint congenital heart program in Southern California. Our Heart Institute is nationally ranked in pediatric cardiology & heart surgery and has received awards for excellence in ECMO services and critical care nursing.
