Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Electrician to join our team at Freedom Forever. As a Residential Solar Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Main Panel Upgrades (MPU) and Electrical Work: Safely plan and complete MPU's, GMA's, battery backup installs, and other major electrical work.
  • Electrical System Assembly and Troubleshooting: Assemble all components of a residential solar system and diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues.
  • Interface with Branch Leadership: Ensure compliance with Certified Electrician/labor ratios and continuing education requirements.
  • OSHA, NEC, and Utility Compliance: Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ, and Utility requirements for safe work practices.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Provide top-notch customer service throughout the installation and upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete.
Qualifications
  • Education and Certifications: High School Graduate or GED, CA Journeyman License or higher.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business, maintain a clean driving record, and pass a driving background check.
Physical Demands and Abilities
  • Physical Requirements: Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles, and lift 50+ pounds.
