Join Shaw Construction as a Field Engineer

As a Field Engineer at Shaw Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Project Superintendent and Field Superintendent with coordinating construction activities, protecting and promoting the interests of Shaw, and executing the Shaw 1-2-3 Quality Control Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the execution and documentation of the Shaw 1-2-3 Quality Control Program
  • Manage material inventory, schedule deliveries, and perform survey and layout work in the field
  • Track work in place, provide schedule input, and verify schedule compliance
  • Assist with electronic schedule updates, tracking and verification of hourly labor, and installation of GC and SPS required items
  • Participate in safety inspections and training, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain record documents on-site
  • Assist with submittal review, RFI process, and project closeout
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
