Electrical Technician III

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician III to join our team. As an Electrical Technician III, you will be responsible for performing various electrical installations and maintenance functions throughout our facility. You will work from complex blueprints, drawings, schematics, service manuals, and written and verbal instructions to respond to electrical problems of various complexities and voltages, make repairs, and request assistance on more complicated problems.

- Respond to electrical problems of various complexities and voltages, make repairs, and request assistance on more complicated problems.
- Use a variety of electrical and electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, strobe lights, high voltage testers, and other associated equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance duties as directed.
- Assist contractors in the construction of new or remodeling installations.
- Identify and order spare parts as required.
- May be required to take meter readings for kilowatt hours, check fire alarm and facility-related batteries.
- Improve process and solve problems in cooperation with fellow employees and technical support group.
- Instruct one or two fellow employees in the proper performance of duties.
- Keep equipment and surroundings neat and clean.
- Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- E1 or E2 Electrical License or equivalent.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Completion of trades training in electricity.
- Experience working with PLC logic.
- Experience working with VFD logic.
- Experience working with Fire Alarm systems.
