Project Engineer Job Description

The Ruhlin Company is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join its Civil Division in Northeast Ohio and Columbus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all financial administration and cost reporting activities, as well as assisting the Superintendent in managing all construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial administration and cost reporting activities
  • Assist Superintendent in managing construction processes
  • Ensure accurate cost reports and project status reports are produced on-time
  • Promptly and accurately process payment applications to the owner
  • Timely and complete project documentation
  • Ensure project is constructed per contract documents
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field
  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Basic understanding of cost analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Professional registration is encouraged
