Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Nursing Services Manager, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to the medical team within the Clinic. This role is crucial in enhancing Participant satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities include assisting Participants with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene tasks such as toileting and changing incontinence products. Additionally, the CNA prepares Participants for medical examinations conducted by Clinic physicians and registered nurses.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist Participants with walking and the use of mobility aids.
  • Support Participants in personal care activities, ensuring dignity and comfort.
  • Prepare Participants for their medical appointments.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working with elderly individuals, particularly those with cognitive impairments.
