The Plant Controller plays a vital role within the facility's leadership team, tasked with delivering financial guidance and oversight. This position encompasses the management of the plant's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting functions, all aimed at enhancing operational performance.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to evaluate financial outcomes, drive operational enhancements, manage projects, and optimize processes.
  • Establish and uphold internal controls to guarantee financial accuracy, safeguard assets, and mitigate risks.
  • Lead initiatives focused on financial improvement, presenting innovative strategies for cost management and operational expenditures.
  • Oversee the development of strategic plans, capital expenditure plans, and financial forecasts, ensuring they align with the plant's objectives.
  • Examine financial discrepancies and deliver actionable insights to the management team.
  • Work in partnership with various departments to fulfill both plant and corporate objectives.
  • Disseminate best practices and foster process enhancements within the finance department.
  • Provide financial advice and support to departmental leaders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP and local regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a financial collaborator with Operations and Supply Chain teams.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in cost accounting practices.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Prior experience as a Multi-Site Facility Controller is advantageous.
