Your main duties will include:

- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implementing infection control measures to prevent the spread of illness and disease.
- Educating patients and families on care practices to empower them to take an active role in their care.
- Providing clinical direction to support staff to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality care.
- Monitoring and managing pain levels to ensure that patients are comfortable and free from pain.
- Making referrals to appropriate agencies when needed to ensure that patients receive the care and services they need.
- Ensuring compliance with third-party payer requirements to ensure that patients receive the care and services they need.
- Providing on-call services as needed to ensure that patients receive 24/7 care and support.
- Fostering effective communication among all stakeholders to ensure that patients receive coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Attending team meetings and other relevant gatherings to stay informed and up-to-date on best practices and new developments in the field.
Requirements:
- Ability to assess and respond to patient needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of medications and proper administration to ensure safe and effective care.
- Competency in various medical procedures and treatments to provide high-quality care.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple patients and tasks effectively.
- Current RN license and CPR certification to ensure that you are qualified to provide high-quality care.
- Homecare Homebase Software and OASIS Experience to ensure that you are familiar with our electronic medical record system and can use it effectively.
- Reliable transportation and insurance to ensure that you can travel to patients' homes as needed.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of RN experience to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- BSN preferred to ensure that you have a strong foundation in nursing theory and practice.
