As a licensed practical nurse at MEDIKO, you will be responsible for the application and administration of nursing skills in a correctional center. This includes conducting medication rounds and all other tasks assigned by the RN-Director of Nursing or Health Services Administrator.

  • Location: Athens Clarke County Jail
  • Shift/Schedule: 12 hour 3/4 PM shifts
  • Pay Rate: Starting rates at $31 commensurate with experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an active, unencumbered state/commonwealth licensed practical nurse license. You must also have completion of an accredited nursing program leading to licensure with the ability to practice as a licensed practical nurse. Additionally, you will need to have an active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved).
