The nursing position at Cleveland Clinic's Avon Hospital involves providing high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing diagnostic imaging services. A successful candidate must be a licensed Registered Nurse with relevant experience and certification in the field of diagnostic radiology.

Our state-of-the-art diagnostic radiology services include CT scans, general x-ray, MRI, digital mammography, bone density scans, and ultrasounds. A caregiver in this position will provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in various healthcare settings.

  • Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
  • Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
  • Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

A minimum qualification for the ideal future caregiver includes:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of recent experience as an RN.

An estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$95,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in the United States.

Physical requirements for this role include standing and walking for extensive periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasional exposure to communicable diseases. Medium Work exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-25 pounds frequently.
