Printing Press Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Press Operator for our Palmer Printing division in Waite Park, MN. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a printing environment and be able to operate our 40" Komori LS 5 Color Press.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the operation of our printing press from start-up to shutdown
  • Learn and operate additional equipment, such as forklifts and jacks
  • Read and understand job tickets to produce high-quality prints with accurate stock, placement, and quantity
  • Record stock used and labor hours accurately
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained workspace

Requirements

  • Prior printing experience preferred
  • Quality-focused and detail-oriented
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds or more and stand for 7-10 hours per day
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to cross-train others and be cross-trained on other equipment
  • Self-motivated with strong mechanical trouble-shooting abilities
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions and Benefits

This is a full-time position with normal hours from Monday to Thursday, 2pm-12:30am. Starting hourly pay is $18-$20 per hour, with two performance reviews/potential increases in the first year. We offer excellent working conditions, competitive wages, and benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company contribution, paid time off, and holidays.
