We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team at Hondru Ford of Manheim. As a key member of our collision center, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality repairs and excellent customer service.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in automotive body shop repairs, with a strong understanding of manufacturer standards and techniques. You will be expected to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Verification: Verify parts on estimate and parts received are correct
  • Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicle for bodywork
  • Repair Execution: Assist and repair vehicles per estimates and according to manufacturer standards
  • Communication: Communicate with the manager on the progress of repairs
  • Maintenance: Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
  • Teamwork: Ability to work together with the team to complete the repair and prepping of vehicles
  • Safety: Operates tools and equipment in a safe manner

Qualifications:
  • High school or equivalent required
  • Two to four years of Automotive Body Shop experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driver's record
