Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses that affect their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. This is a full-time position that requires a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to patients to maximize their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns to supervisors and other team members
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology
  • Minimum of six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
