Job Title:

Professional Security Officer

Job Summary:

Treston Security Services is seeking a highly responsible and experienced Security Officer to provide protection for a Professional Security Official located in the Nashville area. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, professional, and capable of responding to various security situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and secure the estate grounds during assigned hours.
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies.
  • Control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
  • Maintain a detailed log of all activities and incidents.
  • Collaborate with estate management to address any specific security needs.
  • Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
  • Prepare logs and reports as required.
Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have guard card, or able to obtain their Guard Card.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Have a reliable means of communication and transportation.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English (Bilingual in Spanish beneficial).
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, or oral form.
  • Be an effective team member and courteous telephone manners.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Licenses (Required):
  • Valid Security Guard Card/Permit.
  • Additional Permits Upon Request, but best to have on Stand-by.
  • US work authorization (Required).
  • High school Diploma or Higher (Preferred).
Experience:

  • Customer Service: 2 year (Preferred).
  • Security Patrol Experience: 1 year (Preferred).
  • Customer service: 1-2 year (Preferred).
