Mechanical Engineer I

KONE, a leading elevator company, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer I to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance to the Modernization Team and performing various mechanical engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain high contract engineering output and ensure all mechanical engineering activities are performed at the highest standards possible.
- Develop standard mechanical systems/packages to support modernization of existing mechanical systems.
- Provide pre-bid and other mechanical assistance to modernization support team project managers and branch sales personnel.
- Perform technical reviews of modernization orders to ensure equipment estimated is compliant with equipment outlined in project scope documents and survey information.
- Ensure that the technical solution complies with Codes, regulations and safety requirements.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university.
- 1-3 years of professional experience, with relevant internships during undergraduate studies considered.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an individual contributor in both strategic and tactical work streams.
- Ability to effectively communicate across a wide range of cross-functional disciplines.
