Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and demonstrating accountability, respect, and empathy towards patients, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, families, and patients to ensure continuity of care.
  • Direct the work of support staff in the provision of care.
  • Perform general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
  • Current Registration and Licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness towards others.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices as they relate to acute care.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7pm to 7am.
