Job Title: Physical Therapist PRN

KPC Promise Hospital of AMARILLO is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy services to ensure the highest quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions, to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Current State License as a Physical Therapist and ability to maintain license renewal.
  • Two years of experience in long-term acute care and rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical and Mental Demands:

The Physical Therapist will be required to:

  • Walk up to 50% of the time.
  • Stand up to 50% of the time.
  • Kneel up to 50% of the time.
  • Sit up to 25% of the time.
  • Push up to 50% of the time.
  • Bend up to 50% of the time.
  • Squat up to 30% of the time.
  • Pull up to 50% of the time.
  • Reach up to 25% of the time.
  • Lift up to 100lbs.
  • Perform wrist and finger movements up to 90% of the time.

Certifications:

CPR Certification is required.
