We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Restore Therapy Services. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients, supervising therapy assistants, and ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to patients according to a physician's written plan of care.
- Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
- Direct physical therapy treatment, instruct patients and families/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances, and determine priority needs for physical therapy.
- Report to physician patient's reaction to treatment or changes in condition, and initiate physical therapy and instruct other personnel and/or family/caregiver members in certain phases of physical therapy.
- Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals, participate in discharge planning for patient, and maintain contact/communication with other personnel involved in the patient's care.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants according to Company policy and state regulations, and adhere to all of the Company's policies and procedures.
- Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate or Master's program in physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Hold a valid and current license to practice physical therapy in state employed.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, and demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
- Familiarity with general use and functions of the computer, including starting programs, using files, apps and navigating screens, and use of internet, e-mail, and understanding confidentiality of user names and passwords.
