About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by providing the necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to optimize positive surgical outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing surgery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES.
  • Active certification by the NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
