Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Accel Therapies. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting the clinical needs of our clients with Autism and other developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Provide direct support to clients with Autism and other developmental needs, conducting evaluations, and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with families, clinical staff, and other professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and effective communication.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Data Collection: Accurately collect and maintain data on client progress, ensuring timely updates to treatment plans as needed.
  • Professional Development: Maintain certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Ethics Code.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Certification: Active BCaBA certification with the BACB and completion of 8-hour supervision training.
  • Experience: 2+ years working with children with Autism and/or related disorders.
  • Skills: Knowledge of assessment and implementation of Vineland, Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), and Assessment for Functional Living Skills (AFLS).
  • Personal Qualities: Passionate about behavioral science, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing cases.
