About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Pediatrics team at Billings Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating evidence-based practices and national standards.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and execute individualized plans of care, ensuring patient-centered and family-focused care.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to Billings Clinic safety standards, policies, and practices, identifying and addressing potential safety issues.
  • Stay current with relevant equipment, pharmacology, and laboratory values, applying this knowledge to patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, applying the Magnet Model to enhance the work environment and quality of care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional growth and development, meeting system and departmental educational requirements.
Requirements
  • Current Montana state license as a registered nurse, or compact nursing license with ability to obtain a MT RN license within 90 days of hire date.
  • At least one year of RN experience, with a strong foundation in pediatric nursing.
  • Preferred: ACLS certification or ability to complete within two years of hire.
