Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. As a Specialty Contact Lens Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and expertise in fitting specialty contact lenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ocular examinations to detect disease and defects in vision
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications to treat eye disorders
  • Utilize optometric instruments and equipment to identify patients' visual acuity and refractive state
  • Consult with Ophthalmologists on complex cases
  • Develop and implement the optometry budget
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
  • Certification in relevant specialty or field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
