Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Freightliner Northwest. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex diesel engine systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engine systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work with a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and technologies
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
