Job Summary

Atrius Health, a leading healthcare organization, seeks a skilled Registered Professional Nurse to provide practice management support and initiate/provide direct patient care to patients undergoing procedures in a procedural unit.

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide practice management support and initiate/provide direct patient care to patients undergoing procedures in a procedural unit.
  • Assist in the provision of direct patient care to patients undergoing care in a procedural unit.
  • Deliver specialty-specific and/or ambulatory care, including pre- and post-procedure assessment and monitoring, IV moderate sedation, and intra-procedural care.
  • Provide telephone triage and clinical advice, coordinate follow-up care, and practice management support.
  • Develop and implement a plan of care, interpreting clinical information and assessing the implications of treatment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in medical/surgical or ambulatory nursing, exceptions in consultation with VP of Nursing.
  • Experience with an electronic medical records system, EPIC experienced preferred.
