Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Sonographer at SSM Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This is a part-time position with 24 hours of work per week, offering a competitive pay rate starting at $34.23 per day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to examine tissue and body structure, providing accurate images for interpretation.
  • Work closely with our team of radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations, and take appropriate action to ensure high-quality images.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and other areas.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Completion of a Sonography certification program.
  • Experience in breast sonography is required.
  • Two ARDMS certifications are required, including one in Breast ARDMS - BR.
