We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ER Nurse to join our team at UCLA Health Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. As a Traveling RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as trauma cases and code blues, and respond to critical situations with calm and professionalism.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Minimum 3 years of current ER experience, with a focus on trauma and adult/pediatric care.
- Active CA RN license, with no EMSA.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- BSN degree.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- EPIC EMR experience.
