Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Housekeeping Department in a senior living community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental services and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as community and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for housekeeping staff.
  • Collaborate with nursing, client, and other departments to review program outcomes and tour the community.
  • Monitor and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion of workload and adherence to community standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Associates Degree in management or related field.
  • Three years or more of EVS/Housekeeping experience in a senior living setting.
  • Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience with Federal & State healthcare surveys in a senior living setting.
